FAQ's

Day one will be a full wedding walk through! From getting ready to reception. We will cover in depth my approach to photographing a wedding day. What I do to prep beforehand, and cover topics such as lighting, posing, timeline obstacles, and inclement weather. You will get to shoot alongside me all day giving you lots of content! There will be a sunset elopement styled shoot on the beach to end the day! 
Lunch and dinner will be included for Day one. 

The Overnight add on will include beachside campfire hangouts with more intimate discussions, an overnight stay at the Lodge in a private room, a morning business and marketing workshop covering marketing for ideal clients, fostering connection through social media, and organizing your business and putting systems in place so a work life balance becomes a reality and a third styled wedding! 

Editing isn't part of the planned workshop as it's a beast all on it's own, everyone has such a unique style and with wanting to walk through an entire wedding, time doesn't allow for an editing portion! But if you choose the overnight option, there will be lots of campfire time to chat more if you had any editing questions for me! 

Day Two is available for add on only and isn't a stand alone portion of the workshop.

YES! The styled shoots are being put together for the purpose of the workshop and to reflect a real wedding and aren't being sent in for publication so share away! 
The Lodge and all the vendors involved just ask that the photos are made available for them to share as well, and that they are tagged and credited when used! 

Come as you are, wherever you are in your career! As we will be walking through a wedding, it's perfect for brand new photographers who may have never photographed a wedding before, but it's also perfect for experienced photographers who are wanting to see a wedding photographed from a different perspective! I believe we can learn at every stage of our career and seeing things from a different perspective is a great way to do that. Questions may get asked that you may never have thought of before!

YES! I have limited the overnight stays to 8 spots so everyone is guaranteed a private room! If you have a spouse or bff you don't mind sharing a bed with it doesn't reduce the ticket cost, but it would reduce the overnight stay part of your ticket. Let me know you are wanting to share a room and I can make the proper deductions on your booking form!  

The Lodge is located at 6155 Rockwell Drive in Harrison Hot Springs BC. Google Maps is my best friend when travelling and will get you right to the Lodge! If you'd like written directions, let me know and I can send them over! 
If you are flying in from out of area, the closest airport is the Abbotsford International Airport, and is a 50 minute drive to the Lodge.  Depending on where you are flying in from, the Vancouver International Airport is often cheaper, but is a 2 hour drive away. 

All tickets are nonrefundable and nonnegotiable but they are transferable! You are able to find a friend to give your ticket too or resell our ticket!  

Lunch and dinner will be provided on day one, but if you want to bring snacks feel free!! There is a full kitchen onsite in the main residence where the workshop will take place!
